GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre continues last year's novelty - two fairs in the same term under the common slogan Everything for the Home! - this year too. The Ambient Ljubljana, the fair of furniture and interior and the autumn version of the Dom Fair, which presents the offer of building furniture, heating and cooling technology and prefabricated houses, will be available from 8th to 12th November.

Today, at 13.00, the doors of the Ambient Ljubljana and the Dom Plus fairs have been officially opened at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. As usually, awards and recognitions of this year's furniture fair - TOP 5 Awards, and the best of them - Top of the Top and Top Ideas - were presented by the Exchange of young designers, Promising creators, awarded by the GR - Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, the Award of the Slovenian Designers Society and the Gold Certificate the Naš Dom magazine.

From the 9th to 13th of November, at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, two fairs are held, which can be visited with one ticket, also because together they present the wholesome offer of everything for the home. The Ambient Ljubljana shows the offer of furniture and interior furnishings, the Dom Plus exhibits carpentry, heating and cooling technology and prefabricated houses. 182 companies from 17 countries are participating at both fairs. So, for the five November days at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre we furnish, build in and advise under the mutual slogan Everything for the Home!

26th Ambient Ljubljana Furniture Fair, taking place from 17 to 22 November at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, 158 companies from 17 countries exhibited interior equipment, home accessories, floorings, air-condition and heating technology, builders’ joinery, prefabricated houses, and more. At the ceremonial opening on the first day of the fair, awards and prizes were granted to exhibited items selected by special committees. Two novelties at the 26th Furniture Fair were free architectural consulting for visitors, Top architect, and Ambient Special Guest, a group of young people named Brands of Friends: friends of fresh and innovative designers’ stories from Slovenia. There were exhibitions of Italian design and industrial design from Poland. Accompanying programme brought panel discussion, lectures and consulting by ZRMK Building and Civil Engineering Institute. To promote the visit, the organizer offered special reduced tickets.

The international furniture fair Ambient Ljubljana officially opened its door today. Until Sunday, it will host 206 companies from 20 countries. The 25th fair is this year united with the Month of Design, for the first time presenting a common brand, Design Week; visitors are invited to attend both events, focused on the significance of design, by means of a reduced ticket and free city bus transfer between the two locations. The Kingdom of the Netherlands is the partner country of this year’s fair.

In the framework of the Italian Festival 2014, promoting Made in Italy in Slovenia, the Italian Trade Agency, Trade promotion section of the Italian Embassy, in collaboration with Gospodarsko razstavišče and in the occasion of the 25th edition of the interior design fair Ambient and the Ljubljana Design Week 2014.
